I want to express my sincere appreciation to the Law offices of Rinehart, Butler, Hodge and Moss. My divorce had many bizarre dynamics which involved a custody dispute, visitation, child support, incest, parent of non-American nationality, fighting against a wealthy family, etc. I am middle aged man, who was attempting to protect my then 4 year old daughter from a life of emotional and physical abuse in which several of her mother’s family members had been subjected to in their native country. Ted Butler displayed not only a high level of professionalism and proficiency through a 1.5 year custody dispute, he built a life-long lasting personal relationship through his attention to details, care for the best interest of my family and endearing concern for the well-being of my daughter. I spent my career dealing with attorneys, so I had high expectations for someone who had both expertise and a willingness to work closely with me. When I filed for an uncontested divorce, I retained another attorney who didn’t agree my input was necessary, or that I should be kept abreast of matters. Fortunately, a friend put me in touch with Ted. The divorce ended up being contested, along with every sentence in the Property Settlement Agreement. It dragged on for two years.Ted kept me informed and listened to my concerns. His expertise and dealings with other attorneys and members of the Court made an obvious difference. His down-to-earth manner and sense of humor made it much easier to get through a difficult time. The costs were high, but Ted did what he could to keep them manageable. There are no “winners” in a divorce, but we prevailed and even got most of my attorney fees back. The outcome wouldn’t have been the same without Ted’s help.
Since the divorce, I’ve had occasion to call on Ted about a wide range of other matters. He’s been able to help me prevail each time. And if he doesn’t think a case is worth the cost of the legal fees, he’ll say so even though he’s giving up the fee.
